Terren Nicole Kindsvatter and Kelly Thomas Alford were united in marriage in a June 18, 2016 ceremony at Stan Hywet.
She is the daughter of Lynette Peterson of Munroe Falls and the late Robert Kindsvatter. He is the son of Mary and Joe Alford of Lafayette, Colo.
Officiating at the ceremony was the Rev. Stephen Shively. Wedding colors were blush, rose gold and ivory.
The bride was escorted by her brother, Nicholas Kindsvatter. She wore a gown of ivory, layered organza with a sweetheart neckline and crystal belt by the designer Essense of Australia. Her bouquet included garden roses and hydrangeas in ivory, blush, pink and white.
Matron of honor was Abbie Currie of Carthage, N.C., a close friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Amanda Brooks, close friend of the bride, Sanford, N.C.; Kristen Alford, sister of the bridegroom, Broomfield, Colo.; Rachel Kindsvatter, cousin of the bride, Lakewood, Colo.; Chelsie Kindsvatter, cousin of the bride, Wintersville,; and Ava Kindsvatter, cousin of the bride, Lakewood, Colo.
Best man was Stephen Vadovsky, close friend of the bridegroom, Fayetteville, N.C. Groomsmen included Efren Catalla, close friend of the bridegroom, Fayetteville, N.C.; Cory Kempf, cousin of the bridegroom, Scottsdale, Ariz.; Nick Kindsvatter, brother of the bride, Wadsworth; Roger Diaz, close friend of the bridegroom, Apex, N.C.; and Bradlee Spudic, close friend of the bridegroom, El Paso, Texas.
A reception took place at The Peterson House (parent's house).
The bride graduated from Stow-Munroe Falls High School in 2003 and from Ohio Northern University in 2009. She is employed as a pharmacist at WakeMed Hospital, Raleigh N.C.
The bridegroom is a 2005 graduate of Centaurus High School and graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2009. He is employed by Cisco Systems, Raleigh N.C.
The couple lives in Durham, N.C. and will honeymoon in the Caribbean in January 2017.
