Bulldog softball looks sharp in season opener

Stow-Munroe Falls softball opened the season in sharp, if dramatic, fashion March 29 at Weddle Park. The Bulldogs got solid pitching, played good defense and got a walk-off winner to defeat Wadsworth 3-2 in the season opener for both teams.

Stow-Munroe Falls' Peyton Balawander, shown here at the district meet Feb. 25, earned a top 10 finish on floor exercise at state gymnastics meet March 4 at Hilliard Bradley High School. Balawander scored a 9.225 on the floor, earning her a ninth-place finish.
