Katalin (Szeles) Vizmeg went home to be with the Lord on April 30, 2017, after a brief illness. Born in Hungary on March 23, 1952, to Jula and Elonka (Eseszregi) Szeles, she immigrated to the United States in 1971. She worked a majority of her career for Stow-Munroe Falls City School District.
Patricia Ann Crow, 74, of Stow, died Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Akron City Hospital after a brief illness. Pat was born May 10, 1942 in Akron to the late George Nicholas and Stella Mary Ann (Peone) Stefan and was a graduate of Kent Roosevelt High School.
STOW- James R. Amlung, 88, died April 23, 2017. Born in Akron, he was a lifetime Stow resident, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War and past commander of Stow American Legion Post 175. Jim's support for his community was never-ending.
Margaret Jean (Rouse) Zerby, 90, passed away April 6, 2017 at Sunrise of Cuyahoga Falls. She was born in Akron on October 22, 1926 to parents Dwight and Maurine Rouse.

MUNROE FALLS Jennie M. Sanborn, 91, died April 7, 2017. Born in Akron, she was a member of the DAR and Twin Falls United Methodist Church.
Karl Richard Kramer III, 56, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2017. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, May 7, 2017, at the Emanuel United Church of Christ Cemetery, 16 Eastern Road, Doylestown, Ohio. A burial will take place following the service.
Our precious son and brother, Jimmy, passed away April 13, 2017 at Western Reserve Hospital. He was born June 7, 1958 in Akron, OH to parents Kenneth R. and Patsy A. Barnes.
Patricia Sue Roberts, age 84, a longtime resident of Stow died at Mulberry Gardens in Munroe Falls on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Berea, West Virginia on September 14, 1932 and was the daughter of Denzel and Dora Mae (Frey) Campbell.
Keith Douglas Basom, Sr., 63, of Goose Creek, SC, passed away peacefully on April 2, 2017 after a prolonged illness. Keith spent most of his life in Northeast Ohio and was an avid Cleveland sports fan. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Melea (Smith) Basom, son, Keith, Jr.
Gail Ann Porosky May 5, 1955 March 31, 2017 Gail passed away suddenly Friday March 31, 2017. She is survived by her husband of thirty years Eric J Porosky and her children, Parker J Porosky, Sara Elizabeth Porosky, Nicholas Yocca and Anna Yocca.

Patricia "Patti" Harmon, 62, of Marana, Arizona passed away unexpectedly Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona. Born July 1, 1954 in Canton; she graduated from Oakwood High School in Canton and received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Kent State University.
Henry ("Hank") Nettling, 81, moved peacefully into God's arms during the early morning on March 26, 2017 in Hudson, Ohio. Hank was born in Nagyszekely, Hungary and came to Akron in 1947 with his parents, Kristof and Kristine (Schneider) Nettling.
They were always greeted with a smile from the nice lady in the maroon apron, and they never left the lunch counter without something on their tray to keep them ready to learn. That lunch lady, Isadora Mary (Somosko) Gray, 79, passed away peacefully March 19, 2017.
Elizabeth S. Mansfield, 84, of Oakwood, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Arbors At Stow in Stow, Ohio. She was born on October 24, 1932 to Frank and Emmaline (Smith) Fox in Toledo, Ohio. In 1951 she married Carl Edward Mansfield, who preceded her in death in 2001.
Christopher Williams, age 42, of Knoxville, TN went to be with the Lord, on Saturday, March 4, 2017. He was born February 19, 1975, in Warren, Ohio, to parents Karen Bordeaux-Williams and James Williams. Chris was a member of Cedar Springs, TN Presbyterian Church.
Roy Mook, 63, of Stow, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2017. He was surrounded by his loving family as he went home to be with his Savior, Jesus Christ. Roy had a sweet, gentle, and kind spirit. He had a genuine servant's heart and was always happy and willing to help others.
STOW Howard F. Williams, 93, died March 4, 2017. Born in Akron, he had been a Stow resident since 1955. A US Army veteran of World War II, Howard was a member of the Acker-Moore VFW American Legion Post in Stow and the Kent American Legion Post 496.
Eugene Paul Ollila, "Uncle Geno" of Stow, passed away quietly Feb. 25th surrounded by his family and loved ones. He would have been seventy-four in March. Gene was born on March 13, 1943 in Ashtabula, Oh. to the late Edward and Emma Ollila, one of four children. He grew up in Jefferson, Oh.

Cheryl Lynn Kirkhart, 70, of Stow, passed away unexpectedly after battling a short illness on February 16th, 2017 in the comfort of family at Select Specialty Hospital in Akron. Cheri was welcomed by her mother Rose, her father Kent, and her brother Dave.
William John 'Bill' Caro, 70, of Stow, died Sunday, February 12, 2017, at Akron City Hospital Medical Center in Akron. He was born September 11, 1946 in Everett, PA to William Nicholas and Fay Audrey (Minnick) Caro. Bill was an avid golfer.
