Joyce M. Hervey 82 passed away in Victorville, California, after a long courageous battle with Kidney disease on February 2nd, 2017. Ms. Hervey spent her formative years in Jefferson, Ohio.
Letitia Dobrin Barsan passed away peacefully on January 31 in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Letitia (Tish), was born in Akron, Ohio on May 21, 1921 to Joseph and Anna Dobrin and was the oldest of 3 children.
STOW - Carroll Lee Larry, 80, who has accepted and believed through faith that Jesus is his personal Savior, has victoriously been called home January 27, 2017 to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for a glorious eternity. Carroll died of respiratory failure.
January 29, 2017 9:25 PM Sandra A. Gove, 66, a 1969 graduate of Stow High School and long time resident of Stow. Passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Sandy, was a long time GOJO Industries employee. Very sad but she became ill just shy of her retirement.

STOW Donald Frank Saltis, 84, died January 23, 2017. Born in Cleveland, he was a Stow resident since 1955 and a US Navy veteran. Donald had retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. in 1995 after 35 years of service and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
Dorothy "Dottie" Hyde, 95, died January 17, 2017 in Mesa, AZ. Born in Clarion County, PA, she had lived in Stow for many years prior to moving to Arizona over 20 years ago. Dottie had been the owner of Hyde's Beauty Salon and along with her husband Bernie, enjoyed years of square dancing.
STOW- Ruth E. Audin passed away peacefully at home on January 12, 2017 after a long and courageous battle with COPD at the age of 90. She was born on March 17, 1926 in Burlington, Iowa to James and Sarah (nee Powell) Davies.
SILVER LAKE - Josephine C. Duer passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017 with family by her side. Born November 18, 1918 in Cleveland, Ohio. Josephine was devoted to her Catholic faith, her family, and the Cleveland Indians.
STOW- James Lee White, Jr. 35, was sent to be with the Lord on January 19, 2017 after battling a long time illness.
STOW- John S. "Barney" Keenan, 84, died January 8, 2017. Born in Akron, he lived most of his life in Stow, was a US Navy veteran of the Korean War and had retired from Clark Oil.

Paul F. Long, "Fred", passed away on January 9, 2017 at the age of 80. Fred was a lifelong resident of Stow. He was born in Akron on September 14, 1936 to Robert Avery Long and Anna Louise Williams. He graduated from Stow High School in 1954 and spent all his working years in Stow.
CUYAHOGA FALLS Austin J. Tiller, 20, passed away January 7, 2017. He was a life-long area resident. Austin graduated from Stow High School in 2014 and attended Stark State University. He enjoyed snowboarding, comic books, music and was an avid guitar player.
Bruce C. Syme, 66, of Stow was born on October 1, 1950 in Orange Township, New Jersey. As a 1968 graduate of Millburn High School in Millburn, NJ, Bruce received his bachelor's degree in engineering from Ohio University in the spring of 1972.

Jerrold Stokes Foley Sr., 86, of Stow died January. 1. 2017. He was an electrical engineer graduate from Purdue University, turned rocket scientist, who morphed into a computer hardware engineer. He earned five patents along the way. He was a member of Mensa and a college professor.
STOW Robert "Sandy" Sanderfer, 86, passed away January 2, 2017. Born in Akron, Sandy was an area resident most of his life. Sandy proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was employed as a Tool & Die Layout Inspector with Ford Motor Company, retiring with 37 years of service.
