The second annual Four-Leaf Clover Run and Family Fun Run, sponsored by Four-Leaf Clover Inc., will again benefit local charity partners, Project Ed Bear and The Stephen A. Comunale Jr. Family Cancer Foundation. In addition to these two organizations, this year Four-Leaf Clover Inc.

Equitable Federal Credit Union is hosting a free community shred day on April 29 from 9 to noon at its Akron branch, 1889 Brittain Road. The public is invited to bring documents that they would like to be shredded. There is a 10-box limit. There will be refreshments available.

Stow sets hydrant flushing schedule

The city of Stow will begin its annual hydrant flushing program on April 17. The program is expected to last approximately 8-10 weeks, ending on or before June 23. Signs will be posted in work areas, prior to the start, and as the program moves into adjacent sections.

Scrap tires to be collected in Summit County April 29

A scrap tire collection event will be April 29 at ReWorks' Household Hazardous Waste Recycling Center located at 1201 Graham Road in Stow from 9 to 11 a.m. Summit County residents are invited to drop off unwanted passenger car and light truck sized tires for a cash fee of only $1 per tire.

Cleveland kidnapping victim to share story at Cuyahoga Falls HS

A Night with Lily Rose Lee, aka Michelle Knight, will take place April 28 at Cuyahoga Falls High School auditorium, 2300 Fourth St. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. The program is being hosted by the Six District Compact's Criminal Justice program.
