Driving under suspension
Man charged during traffic stop: A 21-year-old man, described in a police report as "homeless," was charged with driving under suspension and drug paraphernalia possession after police stopped his vehicle on Northmoreland Avenue, near Route 91,at about 7:50 p.m. Nov. 4 for not having a front license plate and having a loud exhaust. The man was given a summons to appear in Munroe Falls Mayor's Court and released.

Girl tried to leave home: A Stow girl, 15, was charged with unruliness after her father reported she tried to leave home without permission during an argument Nov. 5. The girl was referred to Stow Youth Services in lieu of filing the charge in Summit County Juvenile Court.

Man stopped on Fishcreek Road: A Hile Road man, 42, was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and blood alcohol content test refusal after he was stopped on Fishcreek Road at Paulann Drive at about 1:15 a.m. Nov. 3. The man was given a Stow Municipal Court date and released on a personal bond. According to court records, the man pleaded not guilty to the charges Nov. 3.
Woman's license suspended: A Streetsboro woman, 51, was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, blood alcohol content test refusal and driving under suspension after she was stopped on Route 91 near Graham Road at about 6:10 p.m. Nov. 1. The woman was given a Stow Municipal Court date and released on a personal bond. According to court records, the woman pleaded not guilty to the charges Nov. 4.
Woman arrested at home: A Stow woman, 25, was charged with first-degree misdemeanor domestic violence after police responded to a report that she assaulted a household member at their home Nov. 3. The woman was given a Stow Municipal Court date and released on a 10 percent of $1,000 bond.
Police said woman gave false name: A Twinsburg woman, 18, was charged with theft and falsification, both first-degree misdemeanors, after police responded to a report that the woman took unspecified merchandise from a store in Kent Road's 4200 block Nov. 1. Police said the woman gave them a false name. The woman was given a Stow Municipal Court date and released on a personal bond. According to court records, the woman pleaded not guilty to the charges Nov. 9.
Boy charged in juvenile court: An Akron boy, 17, was charged with misdemeanor theft in Summit County Juvenile Court after police expounded to a report that he took merchandise of unspecified value from a store in Hudson Drive's 3500 block Oct. 30. The boy was released to his mother pending notification of a court date.
